Expansive Countertops

I believe in minimal knick knacks, but on expansive countertops, I think that one candlestick looks lost.  I used a large tray on this master bath counter and arranged bath accessories and three containers with soaps, shells, lotions on the tray.  The opposite cabinets and expansive counter are reflected in the mirror.

Joan

I simply love these before and after shots. Truly underlines the importance of staging and how it elicits positive emotion that will definitely play a hand in enticing a buyer to buy.

More power!

So simple, yet a huge transformation!  The window panels really add softness and balance - are they hung on a spring rod?

Thank you!  Oh yes, they are the spring/tension rods.  Simple to use and sheers come in all colors.  Here is the opposite side of that MBA.  Joan

Joan - What an incredibly gorgeous master bath.  Amazing what a little talent and a few carefully chosen items can do.  Sure makes me want to move in!

A litlle touch of black goes a long way. It shows you dont need much to make the spaces POP at ya. Good job!

Joan,

Great job on utilizing the space on these oversized counters.  Long or wide counters can be tricky sometimes.  Using large scale accessories or trays as you did in the first bathroom, you can balance out the countertop space without overcrowding or cluttering.

Great job with breaking up all the white ~ the pop of black did just the trick.  Looks wonderful!

I come across these huge counters all the time here in Texas.  Everyone has them!

Hi Joan! I met you in a post-licensing R.E. class.  I took the ASP 2 day course for realtors.  Trying to decide if I should take the third day.  I love the pictures.  What's in the shower?

Great transformation, Joan.  You brought in just the right amount of accessories.

Hi Jeana, I think I remember you from class if you asked me about the ASP course.  Email me sometime!  I always accessorize the shower ledges and use rolled towels inside the tub and the shower floor.

Thanks for the comments!

Hi Joan, I love what you did.  I've never considered adding towels to the showers...what a great idea.  Of course, it's not practical for occupieds but in a vacant, it doesn't matter!  =)  Great balance of dark and light.

Great job!  I love using trays, especially in areas like this.

You needed to fill up the space a bit to set it off and you did it!
