Why not explore Maryland Parks this Mother’s Day weekend?
Mom’s just want to spend time with you! Making memories that last a lifetime. Get out there, go for a hike, canoeing or exploring the beautiful history and amazing sights. Put the cell phones, ipads and computers down and enjoy sharing some personal space, face to face with mom this weekend!
History, nature, beaches are waiting to be discovered right here at home in Maryland. Have you visited Turkey Point Light house, or the Foxcatcher Farm Covered Bridge over Big Elk Creek at Fair Hill?
Did you know that North Point State Park was the site of the Bay Shore Amusement Park in 1906 -1947?
How about a good old fashioned picnic at Morgan Run or Patapsco Valley State Park? Fix some sandwiches or grab some chicken and go relax at the park. The kids can play on the playground and mom can relax with her feet up soaking up some sun.
Check the Maryland Department of Natural Resources website for a full list of Central Maryland Parks there are more activities than you can shake a stick at. Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun.
