Uh oh, it looks like you spilled something on your Rothko, does anyone have some club soda? Oops, your wearing a Rauschenberg, well pardon me!
Wearing art might sound a little risky on a bustling night out in Chinatown, but that's ok because Maoli Art's Month is leveraging all the risk with it's annual Wearable Art Show at the Historic Hawai'i Theatre...
May is part of Maoli Arts Month in Hawai'i and on May 20th, 2015 the 9th Annual MAMo Wearable ART SHOW will be featured at the Hawai'i Theatre. Native Hawaiian and Maori Artists, cultural practitioners and designer's will show their work in a most unusual of fashion shows, hosted by Robert Cazimero and PA'I founder Vicky Holt Takamine.
Doors will open to the public at 5:30PM with a silent auction to benifit the foundation. Show starts at 7:00pm with a trunk show to follow, across the street at the former Indigo's now Fresh Cafe.
Tickets are $20, $30, $60 dollars.
