Yesterday I was supposed to leave the house at 6:00 am and pick up Sarah Cole and meet Bob Crane and Nicholas Crane a few miles from where they are working in St. Regis Falls, New York.
Well it started with sleeping in for an extra half hour and then taking a scenic route to Sarah's house where I was lucky enough to also meet her husband Don.
Leaving Tulle, New York and headed north for the Active Rain meet upscheduled for noon. This was actually a very nice ride in that I was able to see two parts of the state I have never been to.
Sarah and I chatted about her business and after threeish hours pulled up to ADK Bar in St. Regis.
Bob had already arrived and after stretching the legs and back we had a great conversation with Bob who had traveled half way across the country for work and still set up a meet up.
It was interesting the line of work Bob and Nichlas are in and what they have to gothrough to get the job done.
One of these days I am either going to rent a travel home and gp around the country and do meet ups like Bob does when he goes from one area to another. You have been forwarned.
