When Items Break, Repair Them Right Away

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with MBA Broker Consultants CalBRE Broker #00983670

You know “Murphy’s Law”: anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. When you are least expecting it, something will break, and if you don’t get it fixed right away, it could lead to other problems.  That’s where your home warranty comes in handy.  Most things will be covered and all you will have to pay is a small co-payment, so there is no reason to procrastinate fixing things.

Get electrical work and plumbing repairs done by a professional

TIP:  Always use licensed, bonded contractors who are trust worthy.

Check their references before hiring them, and get your receipts in writing.  If you do any major improvements, you will need to get a permit from your city’s building department.  A quality contractor will know how to get permits, but you should also verify the permits with the city or county.

Regina P. Brown absolutely any issues with pluming, electrical and air conditioning should be repair by a license professional. In addition the home should keep the receipts.

Good morning Regina. Home warranties vary greatly and it is important to ask all the right questions before signing on the bottom line.

Regina, getti g thi gs repaired right away is the way to go.  Otherwise, things just get worse or become overwhelming when too many things have to be fixed after a while.
