What a difference in the cost of filling up my car’s gas tank this morning, from just a few weeks ago.
It seems just like yesterday that I actually saw fuel in the Sacramento area priced below $3.00 a gallon. However, today I paid $3.65 for regular grade gas at my local Valero station. Each year prices seem to ramp up as we approach Memorial Day weekend. The industry also blames refinery issues, and the fact we Californians don’t use just any grade of gas. We like our’s blended to the perfection of the gods, who make the skies blue.
While exploring the internet looking for the cheapest gas prices, I found several resources available which may help you as well.
Here are a few that I found:
Gasbuddy.com (by state and province):

Internet Auto Guide (cheap gas near you):

Motor Trend (cheap gas prices):

Fuel Economy (government website on gas prices):

I hope this helps!
