The Bulk of the Single Family detached homes that are selling are below $625,000.

The highest Closing for this year was for $2.5 milllion in Grimes Canyon.  Moorpark has done well despite the current market conditions and even though sales are off by as much as 50%, home prices remain higher than Simi Valley with fewer decreases. The extremely tight lending requirements will be a main factor that is the primary reason why fewer sales have occurred..

OUCH! -50% but good to know only about 10% are short sales or bank owned in the single family homes. $$$ wise though, homes have really fallen.  My home is going for about $200Gs less than 24 months ago.=(
