Tasty Trout! New Hampshire and Vermont Fishing

Trout fishing in New Hampshire and Vermont is really fine!

 

1/4 lb. butter, melted

Whole trout

2 or 3 lemon wedges

1/8 tsp. garlic salt

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. thyme

Kale leaf

 

Heat the butter in a saucepan until it starts to mildy boil it shout only take about 3 to 5 minutes.

Place the trout on some aluminum foil. Insert as many lemon wedges in the trout as possible.

Sprinkle it with the garlic salt, pepper.

Pour the butter into the trout, wrap and seal it tightly in foil.

Now bake it at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the meat falls off the bones.

Garnish it with kale leaf.

Dale, I don't think I've ever tried trout. We're big on salmon and when we lived in New Hampshire, scrod. I do miss fresh New England seafood!

My lady really likes trout alot.

She has lived here all of her life.

Will I'll just have to do some for salmon now won't I.

I do not think there's a fish, that I have not fished for.

At some time or another.

What do ya think of my bolg's new look ?

I think that I'm the first Home Inspector to do this.

After seeing your's and all the other's with their new look, I had to do it also.

Always geting to learn something new from other's in our fine bolging

community, dose really make it fun to be a member of Active Rain.

Dale - Don't know how you did it but I really like your "new blog" design.

Now back to the trout - sound yummy. Next time we camp out I'm going to try that and do it on the camp pit and throw some potatoes on the coals. The lemon and seasonings sounds great.
