Take the time to listen.

The morning is probably my favorite time of day. I am an early riser. There are times when I will actually quiet myself to listen to the arms of the clock with that methodical rhythm. The sound is somehow comforting, as I know the person that I am, I will not quiet myself to listen to the sound for the rest of the day. Meetings, phone calls, questions, webinars, radio stations, etc. So in the still of the morning, listen for the wonderful sounds that you know you wouldn't hear all day long.

Absolutely right Donna. So often we get totally caught up on the "hamster wheel" of all the things that we need to do that we lose sight of what is really important in life. Sometimes all we need is to take some quiet time to listen to nature and put it all back in perspective.

Thank you so much for the reminder, sometimes I get so busy that I skip over the most important part of the days which is the start and the end.
