I know rental is pockert money ,but....

Beside selling, I happened to get many rentals. I have many people walking to my office looking for rentals. I check my own listings and I end up going to the MLS and look for Apts or houses. I know there isn't much commission in a rental but it only take 10 minutes to put a listings in the system and all I see is the address and the commission split, the name of the agent and office phone number. Is it to time consuming to put the inclusions and condition and some bla bla remarks? Please at least get back to the agent who is interested in the rental and we are talking about a $3000 house rental not a 1 BR Apt of $1100. Am I asking for too much?

We have a regular MLS listing for our rentals and are required to post photos ETc..

Rentals can be a great way to pick-up future clients. We have a number of people who will rent for a season or two, decide they like the area and come back to us and purchase a home.

Rentals may be pocket change, but they do add up. I agree with Ralph, it a great way to pick up future clients.

Sharona. I think it is a good idea. You could get referrals from the renters as well as future clients. Keep in touch with them and find out why they elected to rent. Thanks, Royal..
