When you show your home to prospective buyers, a de-clutter, clean closet will help the seller's property appear LARGER, more appealing and organized. Buyers respond very positively to de-cluttered closets!
The first obsticle that any person has to deal with before they are able to implement any Feng Shui cures is CLUTTER!
This is an ugly monster that energetically grows roots to where ever the clutter has accumulated. Once there, it seems to grow larger & larger every day. No wonder people call me and scream: HELP!
Recently, I was hired by a gentlmen to de-clutter his office space. The first thing I attacked was the closets. I want to share with you a winning formula on "how to" effectively attack closet clutter:
1. Before - First- empty everything out of the closet. Sort through & throw out all the things you have not used within the last 6 months.
2. During-Then, neatly position items on each shelf. You are figuring out exactly what items work the best in certain location. Please put supplies that you do not use that often on the very top & bottom shelves. The middle shelves should be saved for supplies you use the most.
3. Finished Project -Figure out exactly what type of closet storage you will need for the final step. Make sure the drawers slide out easily & are securily. Label each drawer. Put in all supplies on that self & you are ready to roll!
Have fun with this project and if you can not tackle it in one day, then due each part (1-3), each day. Your closets will sing with joy!
