Find out which type of online marketing will work best for your businessThere are a lot of online marketing options.  Some of them take more time than money and it’s important to know which ones are best for you and your business.

Here’s a list with descriptions and explanations of some online marketing options available today.  See which ones will work best for you.

 

  • Two Kinds of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • On-Page SEO is the optimization that happens on your website and blog pages, social media profiles, etc.  These include using the appropriate keywords, navigation and headlines.
    • Off-Page SEO includes things like guest blogging, commenting on forums and utilizing any other opportunities to get links back to your website from authoritative websites.

 

  • Pay-Per-Click (PPC) – This method of online marketing is basically just setting up an online advertisement campaign and can be expensive.  However, when set up with the appropriate search terms and budget, this method can garner some good leads.  It’s worth noting that your PPC call- to-action works best when leads are sent to a landing page specifically designed for your campaign.

 

  • Email Marketing – This is one of the most overlooked opportunities in an online marketing toolkit.  Free contact management services such as MailChimp.com are good for creating campaigns and newsletters.  Other paid services such as IxactContact (a real estate specific service) and Constant Contact work well, too.

 

  • Social Media Marketing – Sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn offer paid ad opportunities for online marketing.  The secret to getting people to connect with you on social media is to an active participant in the conversation.  Over time you’ll see an increase in your “likes” and connections.  Commit to 15 minutes per day.

 

  • Networking – Attending and being part of the Chamber of Commerce and other service organizations is a great way to network.  Thankfully, we have many online opportunities to network, too.  Become part of online organizations such as LinkedIn.  Search out online opportunities to connect with groups that have the same interests and goals as you do.  Building relationships is important to your online marketing strategy.  Active Rain is a huge real estate network where you can meet, network and learn from other Realtors®.

Hi Jim - The free trial was one of things that made me recommend them.  I also like that it's a complete CRM program. The service was recommended to me by Realtor in Arizona.
