Let's not forget to remember our fallen heroes on Memorial Day this Monday. Memorial Day weekend might be a great way to "kick off" the summer season, but let's remember why we have this weekend in the first place. Memorial Day is our day to remember those brave men and women who have given their lives to defend our freedom. It's also a good time to show profound support for those who have been woundeed while protecting our nation. These heroic men and women sacrificed their futures so that we as a nation might enjoy a stronger future. So while celebrating and having fun this weekend, do take a bit of time to recognize why we have an opportunity to enjoy a three-day weekend each May. Let's not forget the deeper meaning of the day.
