Today on the White House website (www.whitehouse.gov) I saw that April 13th through April 19th has been declared National Crime Victims Rights Week. There was a proclamation by the President Posted and I wanted to just take a moment to show my support and thanks to those who work as advocates, counselors, law enforcement and all others who help victims in their time of need. Every minute or less someone becomes a victim of Elder/Domestic/Child Abuse, Hate Crimes, Identity Theft, Stalking, Sexual Assault, Drunk Driving, Homicide and the list goes on. There are national government backed websites that you can visit to learn more on ways that you can help or just research.
www.crimevictims.gov
www.ncvc.org
www.ovc.gov
www.missingkids.com
I also encourage everyone to look in to their own local sites for information for example Arizona has -
www.azvictims.com
www.azcvs.net
www.voiceforvictims.org
www.azsan.com
And there are many more sites to research but I just thought I would take a moment to share.

A lot of times we go places unfamiliar with our jobs and I want to remind everyone to be aware of your surroundings and take caution when caution is needed!!! I wish you all the best!
God Bless You All,
Dione Sage

Great post Dione. In our line of work it's important to practice good judgement.
