KATHY'S KITCHEN COOKBOOK the Journey
A few months ago I wrote a blog about wanting to write a cookbook. Well, now it's done- and available for pre-order, and I'll have them in a few weeks.
I can't tell you how much fun it has been making many of my favorite recipes again and actually writing them down. Of course, then they needed to be photographed and for some I created original artwork. It takes time to recreate over 60 recipes-- you sure can't do 5 entrees in one night! But the cooking is the best part! Editing was not my favorite... and you would be surprised how many times you need to go over, and over, and over your book. I don't know if you ever really finish.
It's fascinating how people are so completely interested in food. If I had written a real estate book... I would never have made it this far. Friends, family, and almost everyone else respond to good food.
Thank you to all my ActiveRain friends who have checked in with me while I've been cooking. (And those of you who have already ordered copies!) I appreciate your support and encouragement!
