Tools To Boost Your Followers And Engagement
Why do we network?
To generate more business from this circle, correct?
Now how do you 'engage' these connections?
Great post - and a re-blog - from Sarah.
I'm always looking for
new tools to make my job more manageable & my clients' presence perform better.
Google+ Business Pages have always been a hard nut for me to crack because people tend to navigate towards the personal presence over the business presence. I found a tool which puts you in front of the people you've already connected with on Facebook and LinkedIn. Get the G+ presence active and watch your ranking go up.
Twitter is also a platform that has been hard for me as a social media manager to keep actively engaged on behalf of my clients, but with the tool I recently discovered that's not a problem anymore.
Last, is a tool for LinkedIn and it has grown my followers in the past week to a number I didn't think was possible, but more importantly they are RELEVANT connections. I won't buy followers. Take a look below.Circloscope is the G+ tool I told you about. I've managed to pull in my clients' Linkedin Connection & Facebook Friends to their business presence with this tool. Also, you can pull in other profile's followers which is great. So say you want to pull in some local followers then just look to the local businesses like yoga, flower shops, schools . . . This tool has definitely helped to grow my clients' followers and that's great because as I said previously, the more followers and activity the better the ranking becomes.
The next tool is a Twitter engagement tool called Commun.it and this one is brilliant in that it shows you who retweeted, mentioned or shared your tweets. Also what your influences are sharing. A LOT of possibilities with this one!! It has definitely woken up my clients' twitter accounts.
This last tool is a Chrome extension and can be found in the Chrome store. This tool is called Linkclump. It makes it possible for you to open several LinkedIn profiles by clicking & dragging. That is called the soft approach because the ones you've clicked on get notified you've looked at their profile & then possibly connect with you. You really need to know your audience for this one. Mine is easy as it is real estate professionals. Yours might be local doctors, ceo's, lawyers . . . Have fun with this one!
