What I Learned This Week At ActiveRain-May 24 to May 30, 2015
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, about Real Estate, about a place or person! Or it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
May 24: Dorie Dillard I want to help my parents ~Is there a Caregiver Mortgage Available?
I’d not heard of this and perhaps you haven’t either. Be sure to head to Dorie’s post and learn something that may help you with your clients.
May 25: Bob Publicover How do you feel when you see our flag?
I love seeing fellow members outside of our own little cyberville. Please read Bob’s post and click on the link. I’m so proud to say I know him.
Wanda Kubat-Nerdin She said I was greedy, petty and typically paranoid.
Wanda’s post is a reminder that while many of us assume that everyone is familiar with the ActiveRain guidelines, with so many new members, it is important to reiterate them. This community sets itself above some of the other communities in that personal attacks or discrediting someone just won’t fly here.
May 26: Gary Woltal Two Elements in Understanding Change
Did you ever feel stuck and unable to take that first step? Gary’s words are just what you need! In fact I might just paste this to my mirror.
May 27: Karen Fiddler Will Your Solar Power Upgrade Cost You a Home Buyer?
I don’t know that much about solar power, but this was interesting! Some might think that it would be a plus but read on.
Ron and Alexandra Seigel An Unusual Place for Fuel and A Special Feel Good Moment.
Why can’t we read more of these feel good moments. It can’t help but make you feel good about life!
May 28: Michael Thornton MVVBP
Michael’s post is short so hop over and let us all know what your MVVBP is. Don’t know what MVVBP is? Go to Michael’s post.
May 29: Nicole Doty The Windshield is Bigger than the Rearview Mirror.
What a great analogy. See cars do more than just get us from point A to point B! Posts like Nicole’s help to put things in perspective for us.
May 30: Dick Greenberg Off the Rails
Dick has written another insightful post that reminded me that things aren’t always as they seem. Understanding the why’s and how’s of someone’s behavior can elicit a very different reaction.
Check out Pat Kennedy’s Weekly Favorites Post, Debbie Reynolds Saturday Subscriber Finds.
Thank you for letting me do what I love to do each day... learn something new!
