Ellington Gait Subdivision
has a variety of homes ranging in size from 2000 sq. ft. to over 3000 sq. ft. All homes have at least a two car garage. Underground utilities make for a clean look and since this is in the city limits, natural gas and city sewers run throughout the subdivision.
Many of the homes are two-story designs and have fireplaces. They have open floor plans and nice kitchens. Walk-in closets and lofty ceiling are usually standard in Ellington Gait. The monthly HOA fee is very low.
What Activities are Nearby?
Dunbar Cave State Park is a five minute drive away. You can play golf, swim, play tennis, fish, picnic or hike, play horseshoes or softball. Beachaven Winery and Vineyards has free summer concerts, Jazz on the Lawn. There are also concerts downtown at Downtown Commons. The City Forum has mini-golf, bowling, go-karts and arcade games in a multi-acre inside arena. Don't forget the river and all the area swimming pools.
Which Schools Do Children Attend?
Ellington Gait is serviced by Clarksville/Montgomery County School System if you choose to send your children to public school. The elementary school is Rossview and the Middle and High Schools are also Rossview. They are less than a mile away so check them out on my website.
If you have a college-age student or you are college bound, Austin Peay State University is only about 10 minutes away and offers a quality, liberal arts education. Nashville Tech, Daymar Institute are in Clarksville. In the Nashville area, there are more than a dozen colleges and universities available.
