Its been said before and will no doubt be said again, we can all learn a lot from Barbara Todaro .
Today she shares another insight into what makes her such a marketing genius.
There’s always good news and bad news in the real estate business. This is good news for me, and most likely, it will be taken as bad news for most offline marketers who use direct mail marketing.
Postage, as of May 31st, will increase by one cent (.01) and that means each postcard will cost .35 rather than .34. Do you know what that very small increase will do to marketers?
Many will reduce the number of homes in their monthly mailing. Many will not increase the number of homes, as they had previously planned. This equates to more exposure for my mailings. I will take the high road on this change, and I’ll maintain my program as planned.
My monthly Free Market Analysis mailing will increase by $75; just listed, sale pending and just sold postcards will increase by $20 each; and the total for the month will increase by $200-$300/month for me.
The question that needs to be asked is “will my visibility improve because of this increase in cost?” The answer, unequivocally, is yes. Two or three postcards being delivered from two or three different sources could immediately become one postcard.
That’s one name in front of the homeowner. That’s one number to call. That’s our future business. I like it!!!
