Grand Opening Amanda Reed's Photography, Lewisburg WV Studio
The Grand Opening of Amanda Reed Photographer's Lewisburg studio will be on First Friday, June 5, from 5 - 8 pm. All are invited to the studio, located in Sunflower Soul at 205 East Washington Street, to enjoy light refreshments while viewing an exhibit of Reed's photographs. Reed's motto is "See with the heart. Photograph with the eyes." From her "natural light" photography business begun in 1998, she has opened her Rainelle studio in 2007 and is now expanding to a second studio.

n addition to studio sessions, Reed photographs at her and her clients' favorite outdoor locations or homes. Clients have commissioned her to travel extensively around the United States and the Caribbean. She is an award winning photographer of families and high school seniors. Senior photo shoots for the past two years have included New York City and Central Park as well as outdoor photographs that display the person in West Virginia's natural beauty.Reed's unusual ability to succeed at a high level while maintaining balance and putting her family first makes her a popular teacher of other photographers. Several times a year she travels to Nevada, Ohio and Florida to teach writing a master plan with tools for finding personal as well as professional success. She covers: Finding your purpose, developing a mission statement, your 12-month marketing calendar, personal projects, financial projections, outsourcing/management and the power of you. Photographers leave with renewed confidence in both themselves and their business.
For Reed, photography is her mission and ministry. "I believe photography is only my platform to help inspire and encourage others. During our time together I want to help you to embrace the beauty that God blessed you with. I want you to laugh...hard, ugly belly laughs and feel confident doing so. I want you to leave my studio with not only great images but renewed confidence in yourself and a desire to dream bigger. I believe that is my purpose."
