Calgary Luxury Community: Meadowlark Park
Named after the prairie song bird, Meadowlark Park is a neat small community located behind the Chinook Centre shopping mall. The community is situated south of 58 Ave SW and north of Glenmore Trail, between Elbow Dr SW and the mall.
Meadowlark Park real estate has undergone several changes, like a school and some homes were torn down to build in their place the interchange constructed at Elbow and Glenmore Trail.
Home construction in Meadowlark Park started in 1955, during which time the Chinook Drive-in Theatre stood in place where the mall is standing now. Most of the homes in this luxury community are bungalows built on expansive lots with curvilinear streets.
