Delray Beach- The Quiet Before Summer Vacation!
School will be out in a week and it has seemed like the calm before the storm here. Soon the beaches will fill with families who’ve come to Delray to visit relatives and play at the beach.
Some of our retail stores will close for the summer and head north to open their stores there. Restaurants will announce summer specials (residents love this!) It’s a win-win situation for us all.

When I think of summer, I think of ice cream cones and root beer floats. Actually, since it’s warm in Delray all year, I pretty much think of ice cream all year! We had to stop by Ellies one afternoon for our floats!
