Frank Sinatra: the man the legend, the voice! I have always loved Frank Sinatra's Musical and Acting Tallent.

One of my favorite movie that he was in, he received the Best Supporting Actor "From Here to Eternity" well deserved if I might say so....if you have not seen this movie try to find it was made around 1953 and the best "taps" I have heared....Montgomery Cliff plays the Trupet Solo... just awesome.

This year is his Centennial so celebrate and watch and listen to "old blue eyes"!

I'm a big Frank Sinatra fan Endre Barath, Jr. what a voice! Francis Albert was great in From Here To Eternity but Burt Lancaster was so handsome and what a bod!!!!

Nancy Laswick  one of my first listings in Century City was at 2220 Avenue of the Stars and two floors below mine was Burt Lancaster's old unit. At the time the owner was a well known person... she invited me to see the unit and she left it almost as a shrine the way Burt Lancaster had it...it was truly an experience I will never forget...Endre

I was talking about frank Sinatra the other day, Endre.  Some of my son's friends didn't know who he was.  I was just floored (not to mention also feeling very old).

Good morning Endre,

Frank was multi-talented and one of my favorites as well.

"From Here to Eternity" was watched over the Memorial Day weekend.

Make yourself a great day.

Me too Endre. His silky smooth voice was one of a kind. BB King  (RIP) said he felt Frank had given him a huge boost into the white audience in the 60's by demanding he play in Vegas. Also for movies I like "The Man With The Golden Arm".

Bruce Walter  there is not one movie I did not like that he was in it...Endre

Gabe Sanders  I have a hard time comprehending that there are people who do not know who he is....there is a Jazz station that I listen to when I am not listening to Classical and virtually every 45 minutes or so I hear Old Blue Eyes singing....

My spouse was a big fan of Frank's. His favorite song was, "My Way." This may send chills down your spine, but it is the honest truth. Spouse was given 24 hours or less to live; he lived 3 1/2 months with brain cancer, dying at 37. Doctors kept saying, they couldn't explain why he was alive. After he died, I had to delay the funeral services because of the blizzard in Chicago. Just as the funeral procession stopped at the church, on the radio came "My Way by Frank Sinatra." The driver did not open up my door until the song was finished and he didn't even know my spouse.

There will never be another Frank Sinatra!  When I look at some of the music we have today (Hip Hop, etc.), I wonder how we got from there to here!
