All Because Of A $20.00 Bill
On the Memorial Day weekend I decided to explore Block Island, RI. When I awoke that early morning, I was very excited and said to myself, "today will be full of amazing experiences and wonderful surprises."
Before boarding the Ferry to Block Island I stopped off at an arts and craft fair in the heart of Montauk, NY, walked around and finally came to a photography booth. David, the photographer, greeted me and we began chit chatting. He told me all about the process and locations of each photo. After about 15 minutes I decided to make a purchase.
At first I was going to buy a gift for myself (eyeing a beautiful white wolf image) and last minute decided to pick out a photo of a rustic looking car to gift my father with. The cost was $15.00 and I handed David a $20.00 bill.
He looked at the bill and said, "oo wow, look what has been written on your twenty dollar bill, 1000. That is good luck."
I looked at the $20.00, looked back at David and without hesitation responded, " That is good to know, may you be blessed with $1,000.00 worth in sales by selling one photograph or though many individual sales." David smiled and said thank you. I'll tell you what, if I sell a $1,000 dollars worth today, I will give you a photograph of your choosing for free."
I said, wow that would be amazing! Yet in my heart and mind I had absolutely no expectation of any outcome; just allowing when, where, how, etc to unfold as it would. I said thank you, goodbye and proceeded to my destination to catch the 10am ferry.
Shortly after David sent me this email (message is above).
I could not believe my eyes. I was very happy for him! I found out he made more then $1,000.00. It went into double digits.
I want to clarify, I never predicted anything (that was what David thought I said). He and I till this day are digesting what happened. But for now what I could say is the power of our mind, when in alignment with our heart and actions (integrity; following through, etc), amazing possibilities can lead to amazing life experiences.
Here is the image that I was gifted with. It is displayed in my enhanced art studio reminding me to feed the white wolf.
