Would You Marry Donald Trump? Like, if You Were a Golddigger, is Trump a Good Choice?

would you marry donald trumpOK, this is a shameless promotion to ask if you would vote in my poll on About.com. Plus, you can check the results from others who have voted. I'll go on the record as saying that it astounds me that women are drawn to Donald Trump. I had to write a blog about him today because a freelancer submitted the article for my site. So, I thought what kind of angle could I take with this blog that might be fun and not ubiquitous, because I didn't want to write something everybody has read other places.

But sometimes I just do goofy things for no reason, simply because they are fun to do. True story, one night as I was waiting for a date to arrive to pick me up, I talked my roommates into staging a mock wedding. My idea was when my date knocked on the door, my fake Maid of Honor could let him as I was standing at the fireplace alter, getting hitched. So I rounded up a groom and minister, we dressed accordingly and started the ceremony just as my date arrived.

He was speechless. Although he finally figured it out when he saw I was holding a feather duster for a bouquet. But i had him for a few minutes.

Here is the link to vote in my blog: Would You Marry Donald Trump?

Unfortunately, in the switching of owners of About.com, it would appear that the polls on that site have vanished, so there is no poll to vote in at that link. My regrets. Well, as you would imagine, the overwhelming response was negative.

NO!!!  Can you imagine that man's ego?  And, his ex-wife Ivana married a much younger man this weekend at his mansion.  I thought that more than a bit odd.

Donald may be loaded, but I don't think I could deal with him.  There are many turnoffs about the guy.

Any man with that kind of comb-over has to be loaded to attract women.

Don't tell me it's not a comb-over.

Dahlia, Kathy, Chris and Karen: I see we belong to the same camp. So, did you vote in the poll? :)

Teri: Thanks for voting. Yes, I am foolish enough to actually disclose some of the goofy things I've done in my younger days.

Tom: Hope it gave you a chuckle. But that was peanuts compared to the times I dressed in a wedding gown for Friday night bar-hopping in Balboa. My favorite activity was to run into a bar, approach some guy drinking alone at the end and say, "Where WERE you? We were all waiting. How could you do this to me?" LOL.

I cannot imagine what I would have done had I been your date.....After I pulled myself together it would have been so funny yet, the thoughts that would have been running through my head.

As far as Donald goes. I turned him down once before =)

Best,

Scott

Hi Wendy, Konnie, Kathy and Scott: Looks like there are a few in the minority, which kinda astonishes me. But as for scaring off dates, I've done that, too. Oh, well, at least I've never been accused of being boring.

I happen to like "The Donald" as the person I see on TV with the apprentice and the fun guy in the chicken suit on SNL.  I'm going to go check out your poll/article, but he wouldn't even marry me if I was single.  I'm lacking in certain physical areas and have too much in others! :-)  Hey, I can be as transparent as you want?!

Barhopping in a wedding dress!  I'd love to see the look on those guys' faces!!!!

Thesa: Not even if that person had his own bathroom?

Natalie: Yeah, stunned, I recall, was the response. Plus, embarrassed, because everybody was staring at them.

I was doing a search to see if anybody was blogging about the latest issues (and crimes)   of the DON )  and came upon this wildly entertaining post of yours.   It's now May of 2021 ,       I    wonder what the response to your poll would be these days?
