Pizza Caboose… I haven’t been there since age 12, but my kids enjoyed it as much as I did when I was their age

Pizza Caboose is a great little pizza place in Tigard, Oregon and has been there as long as I can remember. It is owned by the same people that own the Tigard Bowling Alley. Both places are great, and when you combine them, it even makes it better!

Yesterday, I decided to let my kids experience the fun time I had as a kid watching the train go around the restaurant while we waited for our food. The wife and I looked at all the train memorabilia and pictures around the restaurant, that was a little more exciting to us.

But, as a kid, the train was the only important thing, but now that I'm an adult, the taste of the food is more important and I have to say, it was one of the best tasting pizzas I've had in years. The crust was crisp and sturdy, yet soft on the inside, just like I like it.

I think when I went there as a kid it was because we went there with a baseball team and I certainly see me taking both my kid's teams there at the end of the season. One thing I can say with a family of 5 is we were not cramped in the booths! These booths could seat 8 adults comfortably!

I can tell you right now, I won't be waiting another 25 years before going back!
