YORKTOWN NY CHAMBER HOSTS MEMBERSHIP DRIVE WITH TOWN SUPERVISOR

The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce is a business organization with members in the Town of Yorktown NY and other parts of Northern Westchester County NY.

The Chamber held a membership drive on June 3rd.  Members and their guests were admitted free to a buffett dinner at the Mohansic Grill at the Mohansic Golf Course.

The speaker was Town Supervisor Michael Grace who pledged to continue doing everything to make business owners trive in the town.  He also talk about bringing more business and and thereby lowering the tax burden of everyone.  He receive a round of applause.

I am a big believer in the Chamber Grant Schneider ... just not mine. Our Chamber is tightly focused on our Air Force Base 15 miles North of town which I realize is very impoortant to our business community but I still think it should be 2nd to our business community itself.

Joe - I am on their membership committee and brought a number of new members last night.

Lisa - this supervisor gets it.  If you want more business you increase the base by getting out of the way of business.  Then you have more businesses paying less taxes.
