 During the time that I served in the US Navy many years ago, I was very proud because I was working beside many brave men and women in the world.  But you see, even though I was serving my country, I never felt worthy in comparison to those who put themselves into harm's way.  When people thank me for my service, I really want to say to them "thanks, but really, it was nothing". Well, now as an Affiliate Realtor for Homes for Heroes, I feel like I have been blessed with the opportunity to finally give back to all of those brave men and women who have served our country.  And not only to those in the military who have kept our country safe, but also to the other heroes in our society.  School teachers, who for very little pay, tirelessly teach and mold us into greatness; firemen, policemen, and EMTs / first res ponders, who more times than not, risk life and limb to save someone who is in need of rescue.  The health care workers who prevent and cure horrible diseases, plagues, and even the common cold.  I have personally been served by each and every one of them.  I am more than grateful for this chance to serve them.  So, now it is my turn.  I finally feel worthy!
