Today we closed my listing at 777 Hinman unit 23 in Evanston IL. This property, a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath condo with an attached and heated garage and hardwood floors went under contract in 2 weeks and closed in 67 days. An excellent location just South of Main street makes the condo walking distance to many stores, restaurants and public transportation via the El and Metra. After it went under contract I continued to get call after call on this property and have found other condominiums for some of the people. Congratulations on selling this one, and I agree with Michael Jacobs about being as hot as the fire in Chicago.  We are delighted.

On a very unimportant note which relates to that old fire blamed on Mrs. O'Leary's cow kicking a lantern (so not true).  It was Mame who did it!  Put the blame on Mame (the song)!  Rita Hayworth sang it in Gilda the movie.  We love old movies!

Mame kissed a buyer from out of town

That kiss burned Chicago down,

So you can put the blame on Mame boys,

Put the Blame on Mame
