Sushi Making Demonstration | Cinco Ranch Library Katy| June 2015

Cinco Ranch Branch Library which is part of the Fort Bend County Library System will host a sushi-making demonstration on Saturday June 13, 2015. The demonstration starts at 11:30AM and ends at 12:30PM. The demonstration will be held in the meeting room 1. This is the second time I have heard of this sushi-making demonstration and both instances were at this Library.

Carl Rosa, founder of the Sushi Club of Houston, will show and instruct the art of making sushi-rolls. Attendees will get the opportunity to learn some things about Japanese culture and learn many new things about sushi. Everyone will get to enjoy some of the delicious sushi. he will disclose little known facts and secrets concerning sushi

The demonstration is Free as are all as are virtually all the sessions held at the library. It is open to the public.

Mr. Rosa serves as Director of the Japan-America Initiative whose mission is to increase awareness of Japanese culture. In addition, he is a sushi instructor and founder of the Sushi Club in Houston. Mr. Rossa knows exactly what he is doing and discussing with you concerning Japan and its people.

If you want more information call 281-395-1311 or Library’s public information at 281-633-4734.

We have had the fantastic experience of having traveled to Japan. Japanese people are helpful, friendly, intelligent and go out of their way for foreign strangers especially outside of Tokyo. The country is fascinating. This demonstration will be one not to miss if you like sushi. We love sushi and other Japanese food!

Cinco Ranch Branch Library is located across from the Cinco Ranch High School, just off Cinco Ranch Boulevard. This facility is about one block from Grand Parkway, or Hwy. 99. The actual address is shown below:

We have sushi here on every corner, even at 7-11, Sams Club and Costco.  That's really neat to have a Sushi Club Robert (Bob) Gilbert !

Bob, I know many would attend this event, and nice to be able to make it at home.  It is pricey in the restaurants.

I love sushi, and if I was in Katy I would go. My wife and I have done a class and knowing the right rice to use among other things are important. When I go to Dallas, Houstong, San Franicsco, amd coming up at NAR in San Diego I have my favoirte places to go, and going through a class will help you know what is good and bad in sushi bars especially now that it has been treated as a commodity.
