Hug Your Cat Day on June 4, 2015

June 4 is 'Hug your Cat Day' so for any of you out there that have sweet and lovable fur balls, give your cat a big hug today.

Cats are great companionship, do not require a lot of maintenance and are very loyal. Whether you have a good day or bad, when you get home, your furry feline friend is there to welcome you and gets some love and also some dinner.

Research has shown that loving a pet increased your endorphin's and makes you happier. Your furry pal is always there for hugs or a scratch behind the ear.

If you do not own a cat, give a friend or family member's cat a hug or even better yet think about adopting a cat. Recently the news has announced that their are double the amount of kittens available for adoption because of the warm weather.

Hi David Shamansky - Reminds me of my past pet Tabby. One of my close friends who was highly allergic to cats, would come over and Tabby would sit by him every time for 1-2 hours. I always thought he somehow knew he was irritating him and sat there for spite. Cats have such cute personalities.

Hi Hannah Williams - I have 2 chihuahuas right now but if I could pick another pet right now, I would get another terrier as I love their personalities. Truthfully I love dogs and cats both. I just bought a dog stroller to take my tiny dog for walks without fear of coyotes.

Kristin, Our dog is a 13 lb chihauhau mix with terrier who must have had a cat buddy at her former residence as she was dumped. Our girl barks a lot but likes to jump on top of stuff and sleep. Have a great evening..

I love Coco she is so cute ours is a rescue dog as my son found her she has been a naught dog today trying to bite everyone and had to sleep in my lap while I watched TV did not like it when I told her I had to get up and work!

My CoCo is such a good girl but her first year, she was a naughty girl and constantly into everything, chewing, barking all night if she couldn't sleep on our bed, and just not minding. But afte 1 year, she just magically turned into a wonderful pet. She did win the sleeping with us war though as it was easier to give in than to not get any sleep.

We had Tom. When he was 5 naive wife said he needs to get married and have a mate. We adopted Krissy who was 3 months old. The next 3 years Krissy was not well respected by his mate so far as social status goes. Tom never wanted a soul mate and he was here because of food & soft couch.
