Greetings from the not so Sunshine State!

Out showing property in the western burbs and had to snap this angry sky.

Normally my photos are selling the sun and fun aspect to our wonderful tropical corner of Florida. Rainy season started June 1st and like clockwork the afternoon storms are developing over the Everglades before moving over developed areas. If I am lucky some much needed rain will make it to the coast and water my grass and trees!

Can't beat a nice rain/thunder storm though, at least I like watching them from Chicago, here in Vegas not so much, but they are a nice cool down.

Marco - We don't typically even have a rainy season here in AZ, but we did have some rain last night, and our clouds look about like yours right now. My son's baseball tournament was cancelled today, which is a very rare occurrence here.

That sky certainly looks like it has a bone to pick with someone.  I suspect Florida will need to batten down the hatches!

Marco Giancola We have had more than enough rain in central Texas. It has been good to see the Sunshine the past few days.

We'd love to have some rain here too. My front yard grass is burned, nothing can help it. A few rainy days would be so nice to have.

Enjoy:)

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat and Inna Ivchenko , our big afternoon tropical downpours look more furocious than they end up being...usually. The one pictured yesterday never made it to my house and I am still dry as a bone.

Good morning Conrad Allen yes they are from June-Sept. but they are hit and miss and the seabreeze has been keeping them inland, hence totally missing my house and I need some!

Hello Lise Howe it is a gloriously sunny morning and 73 pleasant degrees right now. People from the north ask how I can be here during summer-wouldn't you rather trade hazy and hot for 73/light sea breeze and sunny?
