Summer Secret Hot Spot - THE SPOT - GALVESTON

THE SPOT is located on Galveston Blvd. in Galveston and it is a great location for a weekday lunch. I plan to take my mom to THE SPOT to eat lunch there this coming week. The building has three glassed in floor levels for optimum ocean view and people watching.

The Spot has a great menu and I just can hardly get past their delicious hamburgers and the seafood there is just awesome. They have a desert counter with all types of cakes and eclairs AND a ice cream counter too!

On Thursday through Fridays there is a live band in the afternoons that play well into the evening. There is Galveston Blvd. biker parking as well as auto parking on both and behind this building. I would advise to get there early as it gets really crowded on the weekends.

I was in Galveston maybe 7 or 8 years ago. I went over to Padre Island and drove a 4-wheel drive pickup truck along the beach. What a great area! Next time I am over there, I will try "The Spot".

Oh it does Debbie Laity I really enjoy just sitting there watching the people and sipping a drink.

Oh Larry Johnston the last time I was there I thought I saw a very old wrinkly NUDE man riding a bike. Then after I got over my surprised reaction; I realized he was wearing something for his jewels only. Just as gross.

Well Fred Griffin Padre Island is a five hour drive from my home. I was in Galveston. But I have lots of relatives there too. They are daily beach campers or were at one time.

Lou Ludwig yes the Spot is one of the places to go in Galveston the Strip also has many great places to eat and all the shops to explore. What get me all excited is the very old buildings and all that architecture.

Oh! Myrl Jeffcoat Galveston has nothing on any of the CA coast line. You will be greatly disappointed but you will have a good time just the same. There is a lot to do and everyone is very friendly.

Yeah! Rose King I told my mom I would take her but only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday... all other days are off the table as those are the most crowded days.
