Fantastic dining options are located just around the corner, including the Covington location of Copeland's of New Orleans and upscale The Dakota restaurant. Catch dinner and a show at the popular Movie Tavern, where servers bring food and drinks straight to your theater seat–perfect for a date night or a family night out! Over the weekend, drive over to the Bogue Falaya Wayside Park complete with a lovely pavilion and playground near a scenic creek. This park also hosts the Youth Service Bureau's Annual Chef Soirée, the Northshore's biggest culinary showcase. The 2015 showcase included a parade, a fireworks display, and unlimited food and drink samples from more than 85 restaurants and beverage providors. Brookstone homeowners also are located only a short drive from the Covington Trailhead of the Tammany Trace, a 31-mile paved bike trail that connects the main cities of St. Tammany Parish. The Trailhead is modeled like an old-fashioned train station, and hosts the Covington Farmers Market on Wednesdays, as well as the monthly Covington Art Market, cosponsored by the St. Tammany Art Association. The Trailhead also presents the popular Rockin' the Rails free concert series during the spring and autumn months.
