A Little Rain For Luck?

 

 

Two of our friends got married yesterday, it was a wonderful ceremony. The couple chose to keep it low key and have it a a naturally beautiful setting. The wedding was outdoors down by the river in Coloma.

Although we are in a drought in California, and it is June, the clouds got dark as the wedding approached. We did get some rain while there but I heard something repeated by many.

 

"It's good luck to have rain on your wedding day!”

 

Sounds like a great day for the bride and groom!

I have heard that as well.  A lady once told me that she was so sad that it rained on her wedding day and seemed to ruin the plans, but lo and behold her and her husband were still married after over 40 years.  She had a friend that was married and the weather was ideal, but her marriage didn't last but a year, haha.  There might be something to it.
