Serendipity Sunday...Woman's Best Friend
It's been a while since I've shared anything about my dog, Lucky. He's doing great and so am I. We've settled into a good routine, together.
Some of you might remember that I found Lucky back in early February. I turned him into the local shelter. He was injured and I ended up adopting him.
Tonight we went to the school track. It's completely fenced so he can run and run. Lucky loves that. I walk around the track while he runs.
Sometimes his friend, Madison, comes along. She likes to chase a ball, and he likes to chase her so they have a great time. Tonight she wasn't there, but Lucky still enjoyed just running.
It was a bit warm tonight, so we cut the session short. Last evening, though, he got a long run. It was overcast and not so warm.
Cedaredge doesn't have a dog park. Delta does, but I didn't feel like driving down there tonight. The school track is the only fenced, public place where the dogs can run and play together. I think I'll research the possibility of the town getting one. It's something we could really use.
