Real estate never sleeps, deals are made on weekends, after hours and holidays, thats just the name of the game. Even Realtors need to rest and renew from the busy schedules we keep. I always feel guilty about taking a vacation and so I usually try to schedule a vacation when I anticipate that things may be slower or over a holiday period when the banks are closed. Whatever clients I have under contract I leave in the care of my Broker who has the file and can tend to anything in my absence. This year we decided to plan a vacation to Cabo San Lucas during the Memorial Day week.
Cabo San Lucas is a beautiful place however data roaming and wifi are tricky to connect with your mobile devices! In 7 days, I had an inspection, 2 closings, 2 new contracts and buyers wanting to view property! However technology and back up from my Broker made servicing all the clients in a timely efficient manner.
Real estate is always going through my mind so I'm the one who always spots Century 21 properties for sale while on vacation. Century 21 truly is global with real estate everywhere!
By the end of the week, I was getting nervous and was ready to return to take care of my clients personally. These are just a sample of the messages I received and tried to respond to!!
