Do you take every opportunity to brand yourself? What about every email? If not, you should. Branding every email you send with custom eStationery is great way to promote yourself, your blog, and ultimately, your real estate business.

If you're not already familiar with eStationery, just take a look at the example up top. You'll notice that it looks just like letterhead. The only difference being, that this eStationery header is loaded with live links! I link to my blogs and social networks. But I know many agents that link to not only their blog or Website, but also include a map link to their office. Some title reps I work with link to helpful forms, office locations, and even a direct link to open an order.

eStationery can also come in the form of an email signature. Both are advantageous to real estate agents and both usually include contact info, a picture, and live links. It just depends on whether you prefer a letterhead layout or signature layout. Estationery innovators are popping up all the time with new ways to send eStationery, new features to include, and new designs. Two great options for creating eStationery include InboxFX and Blogsigs.

InboxFX can brand your eStationery to match your blog or Website. The designs are professional and the functions are even better.  eStationery runs the risk of getting caught in spam filters and being truncated. With inboxFX, you never have to worry because it works every time! The InboxFX SMTP mail server will dynamically wrap every email with your custom template.  And Webmail users are good to go too! Click here to learn more about InboxFX.

Blogsigs will link your latest blog post to your email signature. This is a great way to immediately share your best industry info and local content from your blog. Blogsigs is currently available for Windows, Firefox, and Mac users.  To learn more about Blogsigs and to download for yourself, click here.

Courtney-I have created eStationery for entire brokerages and agents love the personal branding...and brokers love the corporate branding. Seems to be a win-win!

Laura-Well, let me know what you think of these 2. Mike from InboxFX is super friendly and fast to work with!

KAtharine- It's all about baby steps...but when you are ready to take on more...JUMP IN! And don't forget to ask your ActiveRainers for help! We're here for you!

John-You bet! And it's doesn't hurt to throw in your picture.....as long as it isn't your glamour shot from 82'!

Sounds pretty interesting, Nicole.  I'll check it out - one question though, can I pick & choose which blog post to highlight in the email?  It would be nice to tailor it to the specific client or conversation!

Nicole,

What kind of software are you using to create the stationary?  I just got adobe creative suite, but i'm still getting used to all of the apps.  Do you have any good resources for these?

Nike, McDonalds, Target and RE/MAX didn't get to be as well known as they are without branding. Thanks for reminding us all that we too are business owners and having our own identity is crucial. As a newbie to AR, I appreciate the sharing of knowledge and marketing ideas!

Cool Nicole!  your photo on your letterhead is quite different from the one on A/R ! smile  - anyhow i tried the blogsig....and am having difficulty figuring out how yo use it with 'webmail' since i don't use outlook....i did e-mail their support site....also with the inboxfx its very very basic....i've seen some for the same price that offer 100 templates to choose from and they're pretty impressie - for the same price.  Do you recommend this site exclusiely or are there others you like too?  BTW thank, this was very helpful.

Kent- With Blogsigs you provide your feed url and the most recent article is pulled into your esignature. So, no...at this point you are not able to pick and choose which blog posts. But it would sure be a great feature!

Charles- Yes, this is great for lenders too! Just about anyone that has a business and want to maintain their branding on all levels (online & offline).

Brian- The Abobe Creative Suite is pretty sweet! I use Fireworks myself, but my partner is the Queen of Photoshop. My example above was created in Fireworks, and then I just create a separate hmtl file in Dreamweaver for my live links, drop those files into my Microsoft Shared folder and then my eStationery becomes availlable in my drop down picker in Outlook>Options>Mail Format.

Liz- You may have seen other eStationery solutions out there, but InboxFX is a CUSTOM eStationery service. No templates here! Your eStationery can look just like your blog, website, letterhead, whatever! It's created just for you. The whole process is super quick and the end product is a beautifully branded email every time!

To LaShawn and other super positive AR folks...thanks for the supportive comments....that's all the motivation I need to keep searching for great real estate tools! :)

I'll be looking in the InboxFX.  I already use headline animators from FeedBurner in my email signatures.  Getting my emails the rest of the way up to snuff is on the short list.

Thanks for the tips.  Since I am placing a lot of energy into my web presence it would make sense to try and brand my emails to better match my site. I know that a lot of people will just use plain text when sending out emails because it will reach more people.
