2. Williams Train Days - June 20, 2015
Learn all about trains and locomotives, along with their history and evolution, as the Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel transforms into a railway museum featuring genuine rail equipment from the past to the present. Authentic steam locomotives, workhouse diesel locomotives, track maintenance machines, and many more are on display. You can take a ride on steam locomotive No. 4960 as it is resurrected to pull the Cataract Creek Rambler steam excursion train, which is a one-hour round trip excursion through the pine forest surrounding Williams on board classic 1923 Pullman Cars.
Join the locomotives manager on a tour in the full service facility and check out cool equipment used to maintain their equipment. A locomotive shop is available for buying souvenirs and other items. You can also make a donation to the Williams Food Bank. If you are interested, take note that tickets will only be available on June 20 at the ticket counter so make sure to line up early on Saturday since they will not be accepting advance reservations.
3. Recovery Sundays - April 12, 2015 - June 21, 2015
As the name implies, Sunday is your day to recover from the stress of the entire week so treat yourself to a VH Spa Package, enjoy live music on the ZuZu patio and get great deals at OH pool.
