Support Children with Skin Disorders at the 1st Annual Duck Dash for Camp Wonder 5K Run/Walk
1st Annual Duck Dash for Camp Wonder
As a person who likes to be on the move, I greatly enjoy athletic fund raising events. On Saturday, June 13, 2015, there is such an event in Shrewsbury, MA: The 1st Annual Duck Dash for Camp Wonder.
The Duck Dash is an event created by Patricia Egan, who has suffered from a chronic skin condition. She spent many years at Camp Wonder, a camp for children with chronic or life-threatening skin disorders, and decided she wanted to create a special event to give back to the camp where she spent many wonderful summers.
The 1st Annual Duck Dash will start at 9 am at Sherwood Middle School in Shrewsbury, MA. Participants may walk or run the 5 kilometer course. Registration fee is $25, and all proceeds benefit the Children's Skin Disease Foundation (CSDF), the founding organization of Camp Wonder.
Visit the Duck Dash web site for all of the details!
