Google Wants To Play Nice! Kudos to Google!

I have received that in email too, Alexandra. It's a lot to go through and I'm taking it in short bites 

Ron and Alexandra Seigel There seems to be a subtle push from within Google to make their systems more visible and user-friendly. We shall see if this is just a real effort, or a blip.

Yes, that sounds really nice of them and I still haven't been able to go back and read your other post yet, haha.  It is bookmarked and I still plan to do it, just been swamped lately.

There is a public backlash slowly building against our privacy being constantly invaded. I hope this transparency continues. 

I saw that the other day...was too busy to click on it. Guess I ought to go back, huh?

I also received this notice. All of us need to take the time to check our security settings.

Hi Ron & Alexandra - as I work my way through those settings, I find myself wondering whether I might be missing out on something by letting Google know me as well as possible and seeing what they do with that information. Having web content, and maybe even marketing efforts, customized for my needs and interests might not be all bad. I'm not ready to do that - just wondering about it.
