Cedaredge Pioneer Town...Night on the Town
Get ready for some good old fashioned fun. Pioneer Town, and the Surface Creek Valley Historical Society, are hosting the annual Night on the Town on June 20th, 2015. Admission is free...so bring the whole family and come on over. The fun starts at 6PM and goes until 9PM.
Here's a bit of what you can expect:
- Blacksmithing.
- A scavenger hunt with prizes.
- Live music.
- Hot dogs and chips can be purchased.
- Beverages will be available in the old saloon.
The town will be geared up for a good time. Remember this is a FREE event. There are 24 historic buildings set up to represent what life was like in the pioneer days. Pioneer Town sits on the site of the Old Bar I Ranch.
Check out the multi sided silos. These are on the National Historic Registry. It's rare for this type of structure to still be standing today, and Pioneer Town has three of them from the Bar I Ranch.
