It is a big step, looking into buying a home or staying put and renting. A home will likely be the largest single purchase you make. Summer is often the big season for real estate; many families with children hope to be settled by the time school starts. In particularly hot real estate markets, houses can sell very quickly, so it's a great idea to be prepared.
I usually host a monthly "Buyers educational class". I have an on site lender to help answer questions and help you figure out the steps needed to get you near or to you goal.
