Frances Ethel Gumm
Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy the post for the day.
Today should be an easy one for you. Born Frances Ethel Gumm on June 10th, 1922 Frances had a successful career as a singer and actress. During her career she won a Juvenile Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as a Grammy. She still remains as the youngest person to receive the Cecil B. Demille Award for a lifetime achievement in the motion picture industry. She was however addicted to alcohol and drugs and as a result died of a drug overdose in 1969. The person I’m talking about is better known as none other than her stage name of Judy Garland.
