[ Here's a little Monday pick-me-up!]

"The Pursuit of Happyness" is one of my favorite movies. Simply put, it's the story of a struggling salesman (Chris Gardner) who fought against all odds (literally), to make something of himself.

The movie is definitely an A+ in my book...if you haven't seen it, pick it up. If you didn't like it, I'm sorry.

Anyhow, here's a message from the movie, the best message of all:

"Don't ever let somebody tell you, you can't do something!"

Ricardo - I haven't seen the movie but I really want to!  If there is one sure way to get me to do something it is to tell me that I can't do it!

Ricardo -- I agree that it is a great movie.   One of the greatest things my father taught me when I was growing up is that I could achieve whatever I wanted to, as long as I worked smart and worked hard.

Joshua & Kathy: good ol' fashioned hard work will get it done! I read somewhere that the "harder you work, the luckier you get." Somehow that seems to be a little true. :D

Jason: it was a great movie!

Leesa: Pick it up and let us know what you think! I usually like his movies...Ali is one of my favorites. Did you know Will Smith was the first person considered to play the role of Neo in the Matrix? He turned it down to film Wild, Wild West.

Kathy: sounds like some of the best parental advice ever! My parents raised me much the same way :D

Kathy McGraw: I thought you mighta liked this one :D  The scene here was one of my favorites.

You are right... no matter what, people 'out there' tend to be less than encouraging at times.  But most of them are afraid to take the scary plunge in any aspect of their lives.  Not me.  I learn every step of the way!

Now this is some hot music...  Michael Johns.
