Excitement is building around Hewitt Dog Days of Summer to be held June 19- June 20. You will want to mark your calendar and plan to attend this event sponsored by the Hewitt Public Library. There will be live music, rock wall, zip lining and lots of fun activities for kids. Free Admission!!!
Friday June 19th is the kick off event featuring The Morticians band at 7:30 p.m. in the Hewitt Park. What about Wednesday's Food truck and several others will be on hand for dinner, beer and sodas. Bring your lawn chair and bug spray and enjoy the live music and food.
Saturday June 20 from 9 am - 1 pm you will enjoy canine fun such as weiner dog races, canine fashion show, dog parade, Glam-Fur Photos, Pet Rescue, Pet Care and Pet Adoption booths.
Saturday is full of excitement as there will also be three performances by the Houston Disc Dogs.
Gather your summer fun kits: lawn chairs, bug spray, sunscreen and bring the kids and pets out for two days of fun and excitement in the Hewitt Park.
Dog Days of Summer is sponsored by Hewitt Public Library and is FREE to the community.
