The buyers love the unit they're now happily under contract on. They stopped by to see it again during my open house. They arrived towards the end of the open house and we left together.
They chose this condo because it's in a great building, in a wonderful location, and it's a really cute unit. Not to mention, they loved the picture-perfect views from their new condo.
Until we walked to the elevator...
Not to worry. They are still in love with their unit and the sunny views from it's ceiling to floor windows. But while we waited for the elevator Mrs. Buyer asked Mr. Buyer how they had missed the spectacular view from the hallways* during showings.
Then she wondered aloud if maaaaybe the neighbors won't mind toooo much if they used the hallway near the elevators as and extension of their living room.
We all enjoyed a good laugh.
I wonder if other buyers had the same thought when they moved in. I wouldn't doubt it.
*This photo barely does justice to the real life view. The afternoon had just turned very bright with the golden sun bouncing off gray clouds that had moved out over Lake Michigan. The white sailboats on the blue-ish gray water was stunning as well.
