Sometimes you just can't explain why people do the things they do; It can be worse when it is not caught in the early stages. I came across this mess yesterday. It appears that the woman who lived here felt the need to dig into the sheetrock walls and begin pulling out the electrical wires from inside. This sort of damage was found throughout the unit, she no longer lives in this apartment.
Ugh, one of the problems of being a landlord, really important to do a thorough background check but sometimes they slip through.

This does in deed look like the work of some one with a schizopathic disorder. Some folks who suffer from paranoia believe that wires communicate their disturbing thoughts. Its really awful for them when their medication stops working or they run out of it.
That is crazy! I got out of the rental business due to tenants who would destroy the property just to try and get out of paying rent. People are nuts!
