Indian Rocks Beach has Poison Ivy, should I go to the walkin clinic!

Knowing I just played with Poison Ivy i tried to shower off and keep the clothing somewhat separate and thoroughly wash it. I seemed really proud of my accomplishment the next day. The house looked 100% better and i I felt fine. Within another day or two though I started to notice the blisters, as I have had them once before in my 20's. I tried to use Zanfel and any other over the counter mediication i could get my hands on. Nothing seemed to work and the skin blisters continued to cover alost my whole body making walking and moving my limbs difficult. I tried soaking in the Gulf of Mexico for 20 -30 minutes per night and even another tube of Zanfel. I finally realized I could not avoid seeing a Doctor and proceeded to the local walk in clinic. They diagnosed me with a sytemic poison ivy infection and prescribed a pretty hefty prescription of prednisone. After about a week things began to clear up. Weeks and months down the line there were the occasional flare ups as I tried to continue the erradication of the Ivy. The Zanfel did work good on the smaller flare ups on my body. The Heavy duty Round-up actually did a pretty good job of killing the constant sprouts of Poison Ivy that shot up around the yard. It has been a work in progress. If you are looking for someone to manage your  rental home in Indian Rocks Beach, please call on me and I will be happy to help you out  and let you know if it has poison ivy too!
