After staging this mid-$600,000 3rd floor "railroad" walk-up in Park Slope, Brooklyn to suit a -- clearly! -- young demographic who could handle all those steps every day, the condo went to contract one day after the open house and less than a week after staging! Since the 2nd bedroom was quite small and between the master and the only bathroom, we staged it as an office, with agent Whitney Farber of Keller Williams in New York City in agreement. As a New Jersey-based home stager who mosty deals with Colonials, Cape Cods, Tudors, and ranches, I was excited to get a chance to do a Brooklyn townhouse condo, but lugging lots of inventory up 3 flights of steps was an exhausting experience for me!
